The Kremlin is the oldest part of Moscow, a citadel in the centre of the city, where Tzars used to have their residences and where the office of the President of the Russian Federation is located.

The Armoury Chamber collection is based on the royal treasury and contains regalia, thrones, carriages, dresses, jewelry and arms.

Covering an area 400m by 150m, the Red Square lies in the heart of Moscow and on its four sides stand the Kremlin, the GUM Department Store, the State Historical Museum and St. Basil's Cathedral - centers of government, commerce, history and religion. The square is also home to Lenin's tomb, a gleaming granite mausoleum and monument to the once-revered founder of the Soviet Union.

 

Day 2
We will enjoy Russian art in the Tretyakov Art Gallery, experience everyday life in the elegant Moscow Metro, and a well-rounded city tour by car will give you a general impression of the city and the people.

1. The Trertyakov Gallery is the best collection of Russian art you can see in Moscow. Its core - the 19th century realistic paintings, which can tell a lot about daily life of the people and historical events.

 

2. The Moscow Metro is not only a super efficient means of transport, but also it is undoubtely the most beautiful underground in the world, where every station looks like the room of a palace. During the tour the guide will show you 4-5 the most beautiful stations, built in the 30-50ss.

3. Сity tour by car.

 

 During this 3 hours city tour by car or minivan we will make several stops to see:

  • Novodevichy Convent;
  • Christ the Savior Cathedral;
  • Observation Platform on Sparrow Hills;
  • The Moscow State University

 and other Moscow sights and views.
